Immersion is a Single-Player and TCP/IP mod for Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, version 1.11b. The purpose of Immersion is to provide a more diversified and immersive play experience, including: - New graphics for the title screen, user interface, inventory, stash, cube, and items. - Expanded the size of the character inventory, horadric cube, and stash. - More tough, plentiful, and various mobs of enemies. - Changed buying and selling prices for enhanced usefulness of gold. - Equippable items can have up to maximum sockets as dictated by their respective graphics. - Changed the text of certain items for easier readability when alt is pressed. - Changed certain boss drops including The Countess, Andariel, Duriel, and Diablo. - Scrolls are easy to acquire, but books (which hold more scrolls) must be located or created. - Keys and resistance potions no longer drop, but can be purchased along with new potions. - Characters start with the Horadric Cube and a new Quest Item called the Horadric Soulsphere. - Enemies drop more, but half of it won't sell for the prices you'd expect. - 1000+ New Cube Recipes, including new item-crafting and item-tempering recipes will make your gear godly. - 100+ New Items, including new potions, treasures, lodestones, cube ingredients, etc. will fill your stash. - 25 New "Sub-Quests" known as Gheed's Scavenger Hunts" will keep you busy throughout all 3 difficulties. - 48 New Character Skills, without prerequisites, are acquireable
